Brickpile campus buildings, 1888 - 1924
Scope and Contents
Bulk of box's contents consist of photographs of St. Mary's College's brickpile campus, promotional material, newspaper clippings, ephemera, and CDs containing digitized photographs. Photographs depict the campus, athletic fields, buildings, and the aftermath of fires in 1894 and 1918, as well as earthquake and fire damage from 1906. While the bulk of materials are dated 1888-1924, some later materials from 1950's 1970's are included. These later materials include correspondence from the 1970s discussing brickpile students and newspaper articles from the 1950's about the brickpile campus.
