Lady of the Oaks statue
Item
Abstract
Lady of the Oaks is a secluded shrine of Mary located beyond Bertain Grove, about halfway to Justin Grove. During the 1930’s and 1940’s she was called the Lady of the Grove and Our Lady of Grace in 1948. The statue was vandalized in the 1970’s and replaced by Father George Edmund Moss who included a plaque that also memorialized war veterans who attended the College. Source: An.
