Scope and Contents
The Book of Brothers was a project by Brother Alfred Brousseau compiled in 1985-1986. The project was the first attempt to compile a comprehensive list of Brothers who received the habit in the Novitiate of the District of San Francisco. The project is published in three volumes, Volume 1: 1868-1919; Volume 2: 1920-1943; and Volume 3: 1944 - 1959.
